Beyond the striking BRABUS front lip made from high-grade PUR as well as the unmistakable carbon accents introduced by the BRABUS WIDESTAR kit, a range of further BRABUS typical carbon elements including the BRABUS Powerdome for the hood, BRABUS rear wing, BRABUS front grill and the BRABUS wind deflector with integrated LED spotlights reimagine the Geländewagen’s exceedingly bold character. Available now for this model, and delivering enough power to tackle any off-road challenge you are likely to come across, are the BRABUS B40-700 and B40S-800 performance upgrades – engineered to raise the power output of the car’s 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine to 515 kW / 700 hp at 950 Nm and 588 kW / 800 hp at 1,000 Nm respectively. The BRABUS valve-controlled sports exhaust system produces the proper acoustics while perfecting power delivery by reducing exhaust backpressure. Active sound management enables the driver to switch between a throaty V8 sound in ‘Sport’ mode and a subtle whisper in ‘Coming Home’ mode at the touch of button.
