Created for those who write their own rules and based on the technological platform of the Mercedes-AMG G 63 (W 465 series), the BRABUS XLP 800 ADVENTURE fuses the sheer strength of an 800 hp twin-turbo V8 with a tailor-made pickup bed, special portal axle chassis and an exclusive carbon fiber exterior concept. Whether unleashing the BRABUS 1-Second-Wow across the harshest terrain or getting lost in every meticulous detail of the extravagant Masterpiece interior on a calm drive through the urban jungle, this bespoke off-roader is uncompromising all-terrain luxury in its purest form.

Design & Exterior. Reloaded.

As the name suggests, the “P” in XLP stands for pickup. Using state-of-the-art CAD technologies, our team of designers and engineers developed the all-terrain supercar’s unique body conversion from steel and high-strength carbon, beginning with a new back panel with a heated rear window, which closes off the passenger compartment behind the rear seats. Moreover, the space occupied by the luggage compartment in a stock G-Class model is taken up by the pickup with carbon fiber side panels in the BRABUS XLP 800 ADVENTURE. The cargo bed is lined with the same durable Soft-Teak material that is also used in the world of BRABUS Marine high-performance boats.

A special, high-strength frame extension module and a longer drive shaft were developed for the rear of the pickup. They allow for the rear axle to be moved back and thus extend the wheelbase by 50 centimeters (19.7 in). This gives the BRABUS XLP 800 ADVENTURE a length of over five meters (16 ft). The bodywork also includes the double bar behind the cab and the robust ADVENTURE roof rack, also coated in a matte black finish, for which a roof tent is available as an option.

The BRABUS XLP 800 ADVENTURE's distinctive face is defined by the BRABUS carbon apron featuring a cable winch with a pulling force of 4,500 kilograms (9,921 lbs.). The carbon radiator grille frame with illuminated BRABUS logo provides a further sporty accent.

The carbon-fiber concept also includes the BRABUS power dome hood, the side mirror covers, the side trim lines, as well as the BRABUS wind deflector for the roof rack, whose three powerful LED panels bathe the terrain in front of the pickup in light bright as day.

Because the cabin is positioned significantly higher than in a standard G-Class due to the increased ground clearance, the pickup features electrically extending side steps that can be installed in addition to the standard running boards to facilitate entry and exit. The BRABUS XLP 800 ADVENTURE is additionally equipped with LEDs that illuminate not only the steps but also the ground next to the vehicle. They are activated by pulling on a door handle or by the Keyless-Go signal when approaching the vehicle. To be able to swing the rear doors open to up to 90 degrees, the pickup is fitted with special BRABUS “Easy Entry” hinges.

The rear is characterized by the BRABUS exposed-structure carbon apron, which, like its counterpart at the front, perfectly matches the WIDESTAR fenders on the left and right. The door to the cargo bay boasts a carbon panel with recessed BRABUS lettering.

Power & Sound. Off the Charts.

But the BRABUS XLP 800 ADVENTURE is not just an eye-catcher thanks to its undeniable visual 1-Second-Wow effect. It also offers superior performance courtesy of the BRABUS 800 eight-cylinder biturbo engine with a displacement of four liters. With a system output of 588 kW / 800 hp (788 bhp) at 6,600 rpm and a maximum torque of 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) at just 3,600 rpm, the BRABUS XLP 800 ADVENTURE is one of the most powerful pickups in the world: from a standstill, the all-wheel-drive beast catapults itself to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.8 seconds. Gears can be changed automatically or manually using the ergonomically shaped BRABUS carbon paddle shifters behind the steering wheel. The supercar’s top speed is electronically limited to 210 km/h (130 mph).

Two BRABUS high-performance turbochargers with larger compressor units and modified core assemblies with reinforced axial bearings each produce a maximum boost pressure of 1.6 bar. Extensive tests on modern test benches and in driving operation led to special maps for the electronic engine management and to a recalibration of the electronic boost pressure control. This high-end software is fed into the vehicle via the BRABUS PowerXtra auxiliary control unit, which is adapted to the engine electronics using optimized plug & play technology.

The BRABUS stainless steel sports exhaust system makes a further essential contribution to the XLP 800 ADVENTURE’s performance. Its integrated valve control enables electronically adaptable sound management that puts you in control at all times. Drive back to home base in the discreet "Coming Home" mode or unleash the supercar’s dominating V8 symphony at the push of a button. The exhaust system is also a visual highlight, boasting two angled side pipes on each side of the vehicle framed by an exposed-structure carbon trim with integrated launch ambience light, which glows red when the interior lighting is activated.

Wheels & Suspension. Purpose-Built.

Just as extraordinary as the unique pickup body is the specially developed BRABUS suspension system, purpose-built to handle even the toughest off-road use with absolute ease. For the 800 XLP ADVENTURE, our suspension engineers opted for the portal axle principle. At the heart of this technology are CNC-milled intermediate gears for each wheel. This configuration gives the supercar an immense 47 centimeters (18.5 in) of ground clearance, which not only increases the slope and ramp angles: the fording depth is also increased to 91.6 centimeters (36 in).

In addition to the immense ground clearance, the BRABUS portal axle system also ensures significantly greater axle articulation, which is extremely advantageous in tough off-road conditions. To match this design, the BRABUS XLP 800 ADVENTURE is equipped with the BRABUS Ride Control coilover suspension with adjustable ride height and damping. The driver can select various setups for the titanium-coated aluminum struts via the standard suspension adjustment in the cockpit. This means that not only the damping but also the drive, steering and assistance systems can be adapted to different operating conditions as needed.

Another special feature of the exclusive pickup is the BRABUS Monoblock HD 9.5Jx22 alloy wheels designed for maximum durability. Manufactured using state-of-the-art forging and machining technology, these wheels are adapted to the BRABUS portal axles thanks to their eight-hole mounting. They find their place in the larger wheel arches of the BRABUS WIDESTAR fender flares, which make the pickup 210 centimeters (82.7 in) wide. 325/55 R 22 all-terrain tires make the XLP 800 ADVENTURE equally suitable for demanding off-road use and on-road operation.

Interior. Extravagant.

As is customary for all BRABUS Masterpiece supercars produced in Bottrop, Germany, the BRABUS XLP 800 ADVENTURE also features an exclusive full leather BRABUS Masterpiece interior. Kept entirely in the BRABUS signature colorway "Sky Blue", the design creates an extravagant, elegant contrast to the black exterior as well as the supercar’s undeniable off-road character. The seat panels and the center pieces of the door panels are stitched with maximum precision in the "Diamond Double" design and boast pinpoint perforations to complement the internal seat climate control. As a tribute to the founding of BRABUS in 1977, other parts of the interior, including the leather section of the equally radiant Alcantara headliner, feature embossed "77" signets.

A selection of interior carbon elements strikes a perfect balance between elegance and sportiness. From the BRABUS pedal pads to sections of the steering wheel, dashboard trim, door panels and center console, every detail contributes to the instant 1-Second-Wow effect of the cabin. Carbon fiber entry panels on all four doors add an additional touch of exclusivity, featuring a backlit BRABUS logo that changes color in sync with the ambient lighting. The cockpit controls, air vents, loudspeaker grilles and various trim elements are finished in BRABUS “Shadow Chrome.”
