Spring news: BRABUS refines the new Mercedes-Benz GLE-class

- With the current GLE-Class, Mercedes-Benz is seamlessly continuing the more than 20-year success story of its SUV family. We are celebrating the world premiere of the exclusive refinement program for the current model series.
The range extends from professional performance upgrades for the turbo diesel models GLE 300 d and GLE 400 d to sporty, elegant modifications for the bodywork and wheels specially designed for this model series in various designs and sizes up to 23 inches in diameter. At the customer's request the BRABUS saddlery can also produce exclusive interiors in a virtually infinite variety of colours and leather types.
Of course we supply all components with the BRABUS Tuning Guarantee® for 3 years up to 100,000 kilometres (in accordance with BRABUS warranty conditions), which is exemplary for us.
To make the appearance of the new GLE class even more individual and exclusive, we developed new aerodynamic parts that enhance the front and rear of the SUV variant. The entire BRABUS optical package is produced in original equipment quality from Pur-R-Rim.
For example, the AMG Line front apron is given an even more striking profile with new BRABUS attachments for the side air intakes. However, the new components not only have a visual function, they also have ambient lighting on each side which is activated when the driver approaches the parked vehicle or pulls a door handle.
The rear of the SUV variant in the GLE class is made even more striking by the BRABUS rear spoiler which is mounted on the tailgate.
The exclusive look is further enhanced by the tailor-made BRABUS monoblock wheels in various dimensions up to 23 inches in diameter. The BRABUS suspension module for the AIRMATIC air suspension, which lowers the SUV by approx. 25 millimetres, is specially designed for use with sporty road tyres.
Of course, we have also developed performance upgrades for the various engine versions of the W167 series that are both powerful and stable. The BRABUS PowerXtra Kits are available immediately for the two turbo diesel models GLE 300 d and GLE 400 d.

Driving performance is improved enormously with BRABUS D30 Tuning: The SUV accelerates in 6.9 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h and the top speed is 225 km/h.
Of course the GLE 400 d is even more dynamic, especially if a BRABUS PowerXtra D40 is installed. In this case the peak power increases to an enormous 272 kW / 370 hp at 4,200 rpm. At only 2,500 rpm the maximum torque of 750 Nm is already available. This is not only noticeable in the superior power delivery in every driving situation: With only 5.5 seconds to 100 km/h, the SUV is just as much a lively representative of its class as it is with a top speed of 250 km/h
Another specialty of BRABUS is the design of exclusive options for the interior of the new Mercedes GLE-Class. The lineup ranges from stainless scuff plates with backlit BRABUS logo and aluminum components such as pedals and door-lock pins to an exclusive BRABUS fine leather interior crafted from the finest leather and Alcantara. Further options are various versions of carbon and wood trim sets in the interior.
