BRABUS XL 800 CABRIO. OFF-ROAD COUTURE.

24.11.2025 - The ability to go anywhere. Iconic form. Untamed function. At BRABUS, that’s the true definition of off-road luxury. It’s the freedom to explore without restraint, and to do it in style. Power and elegance exist not in contrast, but in perfect balance. Engineered to conquer the unknown. Designed to stand out in every detail. This is off-road couture.

The conversion of the BRABUS 800 into a Masterpiece convertible is based on state-of-the-art CAD and simulation technology and utilizes high-strength steel to achieve torsional rigidity on the level of the closed G 63. From the outset, preserving the iconic G-Class silhouette was a top priority. To accomplish this, our engineers, technicians and designers developed a highly complex soft-top system consisting of over 500 custom-made components, developed and tested in full OEM quality.

Finished in the exclusive “Pale Brown” exterior color and measuring 210 centimeters (82.6 in) in width, the BRABUS XL 800 CABRIO is all-out 1-Second-Wow. High-gloss sealed carbon fiber dominates the supercar’s exterior design, including the signature BRABUS WIDESTAR front fascia with enlarged air intakes and front spoiler, the carbon grille frame and the BRABUS Powerdome.

The BRABUS XL 800 CABRIO derives its name from the power it delivers. The open-top supercar features a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, engineered to a peak output of 588 kW / 800 hp and 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) of torque, and two specially developed BRABUS turbochargers. The power delivery is channeled to all four wheels through a SPEEDSHIFT TCT nine-speed automatic transmission that can also be operated manually via the BRABUS carbon shift paddles.

The valve-controlled BRABUS sports exhaust system adds a striking acoustic dimension to the experience. At the push of a button, it switches from a refined, subdued tone to a sound profile that reflects the engine’s classic V8 symphony. Visually, the system is equally distinctive.

From the very first glance, the BRABUS XL 800 CABRIO reveals its unique character: an open-top all-terrain powerhouse built to conquer even the harshest environments. Its foundation is a purpose-built BRABUS portal axle suspension system, engineered to deliver maximum traction, robustness and stability under extreme conditions. For the limited-edition Masterpiece featured here, it was finished entirely in red to match the bespoke leather interior.

To handle the extreme forces of the portal axle system, our engineers opted for the BRABUS Monoblock Z-HD “PLATINUM EDITION” high-end wheels in 9.5Jx22 with an eight-bolt pattern. Manufactured using advanced forging and machining processes and fitted with 325/55 R 22 all-terrain tires, they provide confident off-road durability.

Inside the BRABUS XL 800 CABRIO, the bespoke Masterpiece interior creates a striking contrast to the “Pale Brown” exterior paintwork and perfectly complements the portal axle suspension finished in the same striking shade of red. For this exclusive supercar, the cabin is upholstered in the finest red leather, color-matched and handcrafted with utmost precision in the BRABUS upholstery shop.

The exceptional level of craftsmanship is showcased in the BRABUS “Shell” quilting on the perforated seat center sections, designed for optimal ventilation, as well as on the door, side and footwell panels, including the leather floor mats. The iconic BRABUS “Double-B” is embossed multiple times into the seats, completing the Masterpiece look.
